Archimontage Design Fields Sophisticated :

Archimontage Design Fields Sophisticated : is a micro office located in Nonthaburi, Thailand. Founded in 2007 by Cherngchai Riawruangsangkul, it specialises in architectural design, interior design and related fields for buildings of various sizes, especially small-size and medium-size residence in urban area.

The goals are to find alternatives for design that are not limited to conventional method and solution, to seek new options that open opportunity for architect (designer) to create new physical and emotional experience for both building owner (user) and society or people around it (observer) and to conduct cross-disciplinary experimentation to find new, unique and special ways for design. It aims to challenge, question and scrutinize definition of design and its essence, both practically and ideally.

“Pakkret House” has a front towering wall facing west with several planes, parting and overlapping freely from different angles and directions. Covering by brownish-orange terracotta tiles, these planes serve both as “shading” and as area of “conversation” with light. “Sena House” creates its own environment and context through an image of “three-personalities and four-atmospheres” building: bright whiteness, mud, stone flake and transparency from the large glass block wall. “Chokchai 4 House” uses ramps and wire mesh curtains to create alternative form and state of "access" to space. This is to resist the use of plane and to filter a look from outside. “Sukhumvit 91 House” experiments with “only one material” in space, that is the synthetic wood lath of different sizes that function as partition and filter, the curtain between outside and inside. All these are example of our significant works.

Archimontage Design Fields Sophisticated: เป็นสำนักงานขนาดเล็ก ตั้งอยู่ที่นนทบุรี ทำงานทางด้านออกแบบงานสถาปัตยกรรม ตกแต่งภายใน และสาขาเกี่ยวเนื่อง ในหลากหลายขนาดโดยเฉพาะอาคารขนาดกลางและเล็กประเภทบ้านพักอาศัยในเมือง ก่อตั้งเมื่อปี พ.ศ.2550 โดย เชิงชาย เรียวเรืองแสงกุล (Cherngchai Riawruangsangkul)

มีเป้าหมายมุ่งเน้นแสวงหาทางเลือกใหม่ในการออกแบบที่ไม่จำกัดกับขนบการเลือกใช้และแก้ปัญหาแบบดั้งเดิม เพื่อหาทางออกใหม่ที่เปิดโอกาศให้สถาปนิกในความหมายคือผู้ออกแบบ (Designer) เจ้าของอาคารคือผู้ใช้ (User) และสังคมหรือผู้คนแวดล้อม (Observer) เกิดประสบการณ์ร่วมชนิดใหม่ทั้งในด้านกายภาพควบคู่กับด้านอารมณ์จากพื้นที่ๆ ได้ร่วมกันสร้างขึ้น ตลอดจนการทดลองข้ามสาขากับศาสตร์แขนงอื่นที่ไม่อยู่ในขอบข่ายด้านงานออกแบบหรือศิลปะ ทั้งนี้เพื่อหาแนวทางที่แปลก พิเศษ และใหม่ที่สามารถผลิตผลงานที่ท้าทายต่อการับรู้ การตั้งคำถามและการตรวบสอบกับความหมายของสถาปัตยกรรมรวมถึงสาระที่ตกทอดสู่สังคม ทั้งในเชิงการใช้สอยและอุดมคติ

บ้านปากเกร็ด (Pakkret House) กำแพงสูงตระหง่านอยู่ด้านหน้าหันหน้าประจันทิศตะวันตก ทำมุมต่างองศาและต่างขนาด วางเหลื่อมบังกัน กรุด้วยกระเบื้องดินเผาสีน้ำตาลส้ม ที่นอกจากการ “บังแดด” แล้วยัง “สนทนา” กับแสงได้ในเวลาเดียวกัน หรือบ้านเสนา (Sena House) กับการสร้างสภาพแวดล้อมและการสร้างบริบทของตัวเองผ่านผิวอาคารที่ประกอบไปด้วย “3 บุคลิก 4 บรรยากาศ” ความขาวกระจ่าง ดินโคลน เกล็ดหิน และความโปร่งทะลุจากผนังบล็อกแก้วผืนใหญ่ รวมบรรจุใว้ด้วยกัน และบ้านโชคชัยสี่ (Chokchai 4 House) ที่ใช้ทางลาดและม่านเหล็กฉีกประกอบกันสร้างรูปแบบและสภาวะ “การเข้าถึง” พื้นที่ ในอีกทางเลือกคือการต่อต้านระนาบทางเรียบและการกรองมุมมองจากภายนอก รวมไปถึงบ้านสุขุมวิท 91 (Sukhumvit 91 House) ในเรื่องการทดลองใช้ ”วัสดุชนิดเดียว” กับพื้นที่การใช้งานที่แน่นหนา คือระแนงไม้สังเคราะห์ต่างขนาดหลายผืนกั้นและกรองแทนเป็นผ้าม่านระหว่างภายนอกและภายใน เหล่านี้คือผลงานสำคัญที่ผ่านมา
